The program is not only aimed at doctoral students. Supervisors are also welcome to attend the courses.
MArburg University Research Academy (MARA)
The MARA bundles the further training offers for the promotion of young academics at the Philipps-Universität Marburg. Researchers are supported by the MARA from the decision to pursue a doctorate to establishing themselves in an academic or non-academic context. You can find the current programme here.
To participate in the courses as a doctoral student of the Hochschule Geisenheim University or the Justus Liebig University Giessen, you can apply as an associate member.
International Giessen Graduate Centre for the Life Sciences (GGL)
The GGL offers an interdisciplinary, clearly structured graduate programme for all life science disciplines at Justus Liebig University in the fields of human, dental and veterinary medicine, psychology and sports sciences, biology, chemistry, nutrition, agricultural and environmental sciences. Seminars, internships, research retreats and basic skills for academic and professional careers are offered. The courses specifically for doctoral students can be found here.
Doctoral students from the Geisenheim University of Applied Sciences or the Philipps University of Marburg can also participate in the GGL courses, depending on the availability of free places.
